Also fits select Gen V LT1, LT4, L83 and L86 engines. Clears manual and automatic RWD bellhousings; not compatible with FWD engines.
  • HEAVY-DUTY 1/4-INCH USA STEEL CONSTRUCTION: Made from 1/4-inch cold-rolled steel and TIG welded for strength and dependable performance during demanding engine service. The black oxide finish helps resist surface corrosion and protects the tool during repeated workshop use and storage.
  • SIMPLE TWO-BOLT STARTER-LOCATION INSTALLATION: Remove the starter, position the LS flywheel holder over the starter mounting location, and secure it with the two included proper-length grade 8.8 bolts. The locking section engages the ring gear without requiring a separate crankshaft holding fixture.
  • HOLDS THE CRANKSHAFT DURING HIGH-TORQUE SERVICE: The flywheel locking tool engages the flywheel or flexplate ring gear teeth to help prevent crankshaft rotation. It provides a secure holding point when removing or tightening the harmonic balancer bolt, or while servicing the flywheel and flexplate.
